Neon
Impressions, Inc. produces wholesale bent
glass tubing, primarily for large neon sign companies with
world-wide accounts. Neon Impressions purchased the vandalized
and deteriorating Triangle School on Jordan Lake in Chatham
County in 1996, and is responsible for the extensive renovation
of the building, which now houses two international companies.
Nate Sheaffer and Curt Sheaffer founded Neon Impressions in 1986. Nate has been the driving force behind renovations of the Triangle School, and the extensive efforts to construct the alternative wastewater treatment and water recycling facility for the site.
Neon Impressions now employs 15 full-time glass tube benders and will continue to expand operations. With a new permanent location in the restored Triangle School on Jordan Lake, the company will concentrate on training the finest glass benders in the neon industry.
